This beautiful 1960 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible currently resides in Costa Mesa, CA. This Vehicle is full of performance parts yet keeps its original presence. The Vehicle is in a non-metallic blue exterior over a blue and white interior. It is powered by an upgraded 2332CC Air-Cooled Flat 4-Cylinder engine built by Dave Greiner @ Performance Motoring in Orange, CA. This engine is equipped with Dual Weber 48 IDA’s and a 1 1/2 qt Sump, External oil cooler and filter holding 7qts of oil, Coil pack for better ignition and hidden spark plug wires, A1 Performance Exhaust, and an electric fuel pump. Mated to the engine is a 4-Speed Rancho High Performance Transmission. This Transmission is the Pro Street Freeway Flyer which includes welded gears and a heavy duty main shaft. Front Brakes have been upgraded to Disc’s while the rear still maintain drums. The Convertible top is Gray Cloth that matches the carpet. The interior features a banjo steering wheel, an accessory fuel gauge, and a early Sapphire radio. Seat belts have been installed on both driver and passenger seats as well as the bear bench seat. The Beetle still maintains its factory steel wheels that are two-tone blue and off-white with VW chrome hubcaps. The wheels are wrapped around Coker white-wall tires. This magnificent VW Beetle is mileage exempt and shows just over 3K miles on the 5 digit odometer.
