This 1965 Volkswagen Beetle currently resides in Costa Mesa, CA. The Vehicle is Highly original with some slight mechanical improvements for today’s traffic. This Volkswagen Features an upgraded Bluetooth Vintage style head unit, Kenwood Speakers and a custom subwoofer & amp box located behind the rear seats. The Front brakes have been upgraded to Disc for additional braking performance. The Engine was recently replaced and installed by Volkswagen Specialist D & J Auto located in Fountain Valley, CA. The engine is an air cooled 1600CC Single Carbureted flat 4 cylinder. Mated to the engine is the factory Four-Speed Manual Transmission. The Wheels have been striped down and powder coated in white with the addition of new tires. A new Chrome Front Bumper has been installed as well.
A Vintage Roof Rack has been installed to flow with the 2-Tone Blue Paint. Vehicles paint can show its age with a few blemishes but still expresses the car well. Vintage Luggage has been placed in the back seat just incase your ready for an overnight road trip up the Coast Highway.
The Engine is Single Port Single Carburetor. Still remains the factory mechanical fuel pump. Electrical System is a 12-Volt system with some wiring upgrades.
These underbody Photos show the overall condition of the Engine, Suspension, and Floor Boards. The Right Rear section of the floor has been replaced with a patch panel. Being a new engine, It is not leaking oil!
